The experience
A tinto on the square, then the Willys to Puerto Alejandría. There the pace changes: 25 minutes by canoe on the river, then a 35 minute walk with the guide to the waterfall.
By the water, tamales and a drink, then a swim. To head back, life jacket on, you float down the river. Allow 3 to 5 hours on site, at an easy pace.

In Quindío, showers often pass quickly: the tour goes ahead in the rain, so bring a raincoat. Free rescheduling only applies if a road or site is closed, not for weather.
Children are welcome: free from 0 to 3 on a lap, and the adult price minus 30 % from 4 to 11.
No online payment. Once confirmed on WhatsApp, you pay a 50 % deposit and the rest on the day of the tour.
Daniel speaks Spanish. A French-speaking guide can join you as an option.
Mountain roads are winding. Tell Daniel: he’ll seat you in front, and we’ll stop whenever needed.

The tour leaves from Quimbaya or Filandia, Willys transport included. Pick-up in Armenia or Pereira is available as an option (+150,000 COP per group). Transfers to or from Armenia or Pereira airport, quote on request.

Yes, lunch is included in this tour.
What language is the tour in?
The tour is in Spanish with Daniel. A French-speaking guide is available as an option (+200,000 COP per group).
What about children?
Children are welcome. Ages 0 to 3 ride free, on a lap. Ages 4 to 11 pay the adult price minus 30 % (from 84,000 COP for this tour). From 12, full price. The minimum group size only counts paying seats.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 48 h before. Free rescheduling if a road or site is closed (not for weather). Full refund if we cancel.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No. You wear a life jacket on the way back down the river, and the guide stays with you to the waterfall and while you swim.
What if there are fewer than 5 of us?
You still go, at the group rate for 5: 600,000 COP from Quimbaya, 700,000 COP from Filandia.
How long does the outing last?
Allow 3 to 5 hours on site, at an easy pace, plus the Willys ride there and back.
What should I bring?
